At “Fuckup Night meets Alpinmesse,” the audience can look forward to stories from adventurers and their most formative challenges. Tom Burger, host and visionary of an Alpine Club hut in Lungau, talks about how he encountered massive resistance with his idea for a new, sustainable hut concept. Nina Gigele, former ski racer and entrepreneur, tells her very personal story of a deep fall and a new rise after a serious injury. Hannah Philomena Scheiber, artist and university professor, gives us an insight into her extraordinary career, how she catapulted herself from the high alpine village of Obergurgl into the international art scene, and what happened to her along the way. The result? Three inspiring, honest stories and new perspectives on what makes us all so human: failure and getting back up again.
