Jakob Schubert
Sport climber.
For Jakob Schubert, boundaries exist only to be pushed back. Visitors to the Alpine Fair can immerse themselves in his world: the film ‘B.I.G. – A World First’ offers exclusive insights into his breathtaking climbing adventures. Afterwards, the Austrian top climber will answer questions from the audience and talk about how he masters extraordinary challenges.

Moritz Welt will be at the Evolv stand to advise visitors on the right climbing shoes for them. He will also be giving a workshop at the bouldering wall.

Weger Brothers
Extreme athletes.
After Matthias and Jakob Weger, better known as the Weger Brothers, finish their stage performance on Sunday at 2.25 p.m., they will be available immediately (from 2.30 p.m.) at the Reusch stand for a meet & greet as well as a question & selfie session.

Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner
Extreme mountaineer.
Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner is an icon of alpinism. She was the first woman to climb all 14 eight-thousanders without oxygen. Her passion and strength have made her a legend. You can meet her on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Lowa/Schöffel stand (A084). She will also be giving a talk on the main stage from 11 a.m. to 12 noon.

Sunny Stroeer
Adventurer and mountaineer.
Sunny Stroeer is a LOWA ambassador and will be on the Alpinmesse stage on Saturday at 2 p.m. She will give a talk on the Summit Scholarship: Women in the Vertical – Why Visibility Matters. Afterwards, she will be at the LOWA stand. On Sunday, she will be back on stage at 11 a.m. together with Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner. The two will talk about women in alpinism.
Saturday, November 22, at approximately 2.30 p.m. at the Lowa/Schöffel booth.

Lukas Wörle
Extreme mountaineer and paraglider.
Lukas Wörle was practically born into mountain sports: his father Alfred is a mountain guide and has himself been on tours to the highest places in the world. As a purist alpinist, Wörle climbs without oxygen or porters. His goal: to climb the highest mountains in the world. Wörle is not only an extreme mountaineer and experienced paraglider—he also became a lifesaver on Broad Peak in 2023.
