Anyone who spends time in the mountains knows that the best moments are rarely experienced alone. Climbing a peak, hanging from a rock face or carving a line through untouched deep snow is best done together. Mountain sports thrive on mutual support and motivation, on persevering together and sharing those ‘we did it’ moments.

The Alpinmesse with Alpinforum is the ultimate meeting place for everyone who loves alpine sports: a place for trends, knowledge, inspiration and encounters. This year, the Alpinmesse is placing even greater emphasis on community with an exciting new feature: the Community Corner. This area is much more than just an exhibition space. It offers a lively platform for groups, clubs and initiatives from the mountain sports scene to show what drives and connects them.

A MEETING PLACE FOR EVERYONE WHO LIVES FOR MOUNTAIN SPORTS

This is where people who share the same passion come together, albeit in different ways: whether local climbing teams, training groups, community running groups, youth teams or hiking clubs. Each community brings its own energy, stories and ideas. Together, they show how colourful and diverse the world of mountain sports is.

The Community Corner offers these groups a stage on which they can present themselves and their projects authentically. It's not just about watching, but also about getting involved and experiencing things for yourself: interactive activities, hands-on opportunities and short talks invite you to try things out, be amazed and join in. Visitors can meet their favourite community, make new contacts and maybe even become part of a group themselves, whether they are beginners or experienced mountaineers.
