LECTURES and Presentations AT THE Alpinmesse
The countless keynote speeches are all about imparting knowledge. Safety in alpine terrain or how to react correctly in an emergency. As part of the presentations, there will also be the opportunity to discuss in plenary sessions, exchange questions and engage in dialogue. In this way, amateur athletes, professionals and experts can exchange views on the latest topics in mountain sports.

Whether hiking and adventure trips, expeditions, heli-skiing, high mountain tours, cycle tours and MTB routes and much more: the exhibitors at the Alpine Trade Fair offer all the important information visitors need to find the perfect holiday package - in Austria, Europe and also in distant countries. Travel literature and alpine trade magazines are available to browse through. Hammocks and tipi tents can also be tested for holiday suitability.

Nora Havlinova combines scientific precision with a passion for sports. As a trained nutritionist and active athlete on the Austrian national team, who competed in the 2025 World Championships, she knows from her own experience what the body really needs during training, competition, and recovery. With her many years of experience in sports nutrition consulting (including at Basefive), she supports athletes, teams, and ambitious amateur athletes in reaching their full potential through customized nutrition concepts, in-depth expertise, and practical strategies that work.

As a child, he wanted to become an explorer and researcher. Instead, Silvan (born in 1982) made mountaineering his profession and has since travelled to a wide variety of mountains around the world, always in search of new challenges. Back in Switzerland, he is involved in promoting youth and mountain sports in the Alps as a mountain guide and specialist leader for competitive mountaineering at the Swiss Alpine Club.

On November 22, “Out of the Ordinary” celebrates its official world premiere at 6:00 p.m. Those attending the Alpinmesse will even have the chance to experience it an hour earlier: the exclusive online world premiere screening will take place at 5 p.m. on the main stage. This makes the fair the first place in the world where “Out of the Ordinary” can be seen. An absolute highlight for all freeride fans and film lovers with a penchant for adventure!

Lukas Wörle, 32, professional alpinist from Reutte in Tyrol, takes viewers on a journey to the remote Shimshal Valley. Together with world-class alpinist Aleš Česen, he succeeded in opening a new, exciting route on the previously unclimbed Cherireen Sar (6,224 m). An alpine-style expedition that embodies true adventure mountaineering. Lukas also provides fascinating insights into the recently successful ski descent from Dhaulagiri VII (7,250 m) in Nepal.

DIGIWAY is a project in the Euregio (Tyrol-South Tyrol-Trentino) that aims to bundle reliable geodata from the Euregio and make it publicly available, for example for popular tour portals whose data currently comes from user-generated content or OpenStreetMap and is not always reliable. The DIGIWAY project has developed its own map layer, which uses official geodata to show the exposure along hiking and mountain trails throughout the Euregio. This will be presented at the Alpinforum and the Alpinmesse.
