With Alpinnovation, the Alpinmesse, in collaboration with SKInnovation, is creating a dedicated exhibition area for those who challenge existing solutions and develop new ones. More than 25 startups from ten countries will showcase products and concepts designed to enhance safety, improve performance, and deliver a modern outdoor experience.

Here, developers meet people who are active in the mountains themselves. It’s not just about finished products, but about personal exchange: What is really needed? Which challenges can be solved through technology? And how can innovations make mountaineering safer, easier, or more accessible?

RESCUE SYSTEMS AND MOUNTAINEERING INNOVATIONS PRESENTED

One focus is on mountain safety and rescue. Akobia Engineering is presenting an avalanche backpack with a built-in avalanche probe. Avalano, IVAQ Technologies, JKMO Monitorius, and NiviLux are working on various warning, location, and rescue systems. Digital emergency assistance is also represented: NoxAvis and PICOC are developing solutions designed to quickly and easily organize support in an emergency.

At the same time, Alpinnovation showcases the diverse ways in which mountain sports are being reimagined. Fallinje is introducing skis and splitboards, while GRIZZLY.SKI is developing lightweight bindings for ski touring. The spectrum ranges from specialty gloves and sports nutrition to apparel and wearables. Nomady focuses on a community platform for outdoor enthusiasts, while Skiwio specializes in digital solutions for ski schools and adventure providers.
